Shipping Policy

Consumers Supply Company is located in Chicago, Illinois. Our central location allows us to service customers across the country quickly and efficiently.

  • Free ground shipping to the continental U.S. on orders over $99 (exclusions apply).
  • Orders requiring LTL freight (large/heavy items) incur additional shipping fees.
  • Freight shipments are tailgate/curbside only. Remote or difficult-access deliveries may have extra charges applied after purchase.
  • We select the most efficient shipping carrier for each order at our discretion (USPS, UPS or LTL freight).

USPS and UPS

  • Please inspect your package immediately after receiving it. If your package arrives damaged or is missing items, contact us immediately at 312-666-6080
  • Email clear photos of the damage orders@consumersplumbing to help us process your claim quickly.
  • Damage or shortage not reported in a timely manner not be covered.

Freight (LTL) Deliveries – Take 5-8 business days to arrive. Includes liftgate and appointment (day & time window). Weekday deliveries only.

How we pack every order:

  • On a wood pallet
  • Material strapped down with black bands
  • Wrapped in clear plastic
  • Packing list with a copy of your receipt attached to the outside

Freight Shipping Damage Policy

CHECKLIST when your order arrives:

  1. Inspect
    • Use the packing list attached to the outside to confirm everything is included.
    • Check for visible or hidden damage. The driver must give you enough time to inspect.
  2. Note issues before signing – On the delivery receipt:
    • If damaged, write “DAMAGED” and detail what is damaged. The more detail you include the better.
    • If items are missing, write “MISSING ITEMS” and list exactly what is missing.
    • If the shipment is severely damaged, you have the right to refuse it, and the driver must take it back.
  3. Take photos of all damage and your delivery receipt noting damage or missing items.
  4. Call us immediately at 312-666-6080 to report damage or missing items. Email clear photos of damage and the delivery receipt to orders@consumersplumbing.com

⚠️ Important: If you sign the delivery receipt without noting damage or missing items, we cannot replace them free of charge. If you report missing items days later after receiving your shipment, we cannot replace them free of charge. We will do everything in our power to rectify all situations. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority!


Order Processing Schedule

  • Stock items ordered before 12 PM CST (Mon-Fri) usually ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 12 PM CST ship the next business day.
  • Orders placed on weekends ship on Monday.
  • Non-stock or special-order items ship once they arrive from the manufacturer. We will provide an ETA after you place your order.
  • Orders ship complete unless requested otherwise (extra charges may apply for partial shipments).

Transit Times

  • Ground shipments: USPS 3-10 business days. UPS 3-5 business days.
  • 2-Day Air: delivery within 2 business days.
  • Next-Day Air: delivery the next business day (excluding weekends).
  • LTL Freight: 3–8 business days; the carrier will call ahead to schedule delivery (weekdays only).
